I don’t know if I’ll ever finish this project. Every time I hear it I find something that’s a little too loud, not loud enough, or just missing something. And since there doesn’t seem to be an end to all the great music being created, it looks like I’ll never run out of things to inspire me. This is a list of songs/artists/composers/films I’m considering or in the process of adding to future versions of Symphoniacal. If you know of anything I should add, I would love to know about it!
- “In a Mirror, Darkly” from Enterprise by Kevin Kiner
- “Vespera” by Libera
- “The All Spark” from Transformers by Steve Jablonsky
- “Opening Theme” from Eagle Eye by Brian Tyler
- “World of Warcraft” soundtracks
- “Why So Serious?” from The Dark Knight by Hans Zimmer
- “Reavers” from Firefly by Greg Edmonson
- “All Is Lost” from Terminator: Salvation by Danny Elfman
- “Dragonborn” from Skyrim by Jeremy Soule
- “Game of Thrones” from Game of Thrones by Ramin Djawadi
- “The Way We Win Matters” from Ender’s Game by Steve Jablonsky
- “Cibola” from National Treasure by Trevor Rabin
- “My Firearm Is My Friend” from The Happening by James Newton Howard
I am also planning on creating an interactive listening guide. It will list the name of each song, artist, movie, show, game, and audio source, and will allow the listener to mute certain tracks so you can see exactly how the songs fit together. If you know how to do that, I’d love to talk to you about it.
